Winter Blues
It's cold, its dark when you wake, its dark when you leave work and its depressingly close to Christmas, but don't you just love this time of year? We all moan about it but I just love getting in from the cold all wrapped up with the fire roaring or the heating on and curling up. There is no better way to beat the winter blues than snuggling up with a loved one or grabbing that old comfy fleece or jumper, we all feel that little bit better.

Weekend Off...
Why is it when you get a weekend off and go away for a few days you ended up more tired when you're ment to be resting? Had a good weekend other than been worn out... I bought shoes... rather shiny bronze winklepickers at that. I also went all weekend without the thought of work and what a joy that was to just have some time without worrying about getting called in. Just the joys of shopping with "ar lass".

Growing Old Gracefully
In The Coffee Shop we have some dear old regulars but the most astounding is the 70something gentleman, and he is an Old Fashioned Gent at that, who brings his sweet Mother, Maude into the shop a few times a week and this week she turns 95 years old. As a nice gesture myself ad the girls in the shop brought her a large bunch of flowers for her birthday. What follows was a look of joy and surprise. I think that just goes to show that even at 95 life can still have its joy and surprises. We'll just all have to hope we are as lucky when we get that old!

Introduction...
I'll just get started straight away, I'll be honest I've never written a blog, kept a diary or wrote any stories... I work as a barista in a small coffee shop and some times it can be repetitive other times it can be quite an experience. I figured I'm an intelligent twenty-something in an interesting job and with quite an active social life, why not write about drunken antics, amusing anecdotes and best of all OTT outfits and a love of fashion... All stemming from studying 4 years fashion and a year in photography. Yes that makes me the eccentric barista about the town.
